Netmail continued its tradition of helping the Sun Youth organization this year, but added a little twist to its annual Sun Youth drive. This season, Netmail decided to have a potluck lunch, and invited everyone to not only bring a dish to share, but to also bring non-perishable items to donate to Sun Youth. Like always, Netmailers showed their generosity by helping the neediest families during this holiday season.

This week I am visiting DisneyWorld with my family. There is something magical about the place. It feels like everything comes together by itself. As if all was where it was supposed to be. The experience has been all planned to the exact details, as if it was possible to think of every scenario possible. The reality is that things that are well thought out from the get-go provide us with that feeling.

Top 8 Email Migration Questions

Posted by Frederic Bourget

Mar 2, 2015 3:12:16 PM

Every time we have a conversation about email migrations, the same questions come up. So, in this blog, I have captured the essence of these questions. Most of these questions are related to Netmail’s unique migration methodology that allows large and small organizations to migrate in a weekend. Yes, this may sound impossible, but we actually routinely run email transformation projects this way.

The Case for Making Email Simpler

Posted by Frederic Bourget

Jan 30, 2015 12:35:00 PM

When it comes to enterprise systems, many organizations are mired in complexity. A large number of systems managed by a large number of people very often end up solving very simple enterprise problems. This happens in every enterprise system, and particularly in computer systems. We see this in CRM systems, too, where they are tied to email marketing, dashboarding, financial systems, visual mapping, interactive web-site... and more.

Dev Days at Netmail - Part 1

Dec 1, 2014 2:21:00 PM

Today, we're launching a short blog series on the development process at Netmail. We'll start by introducing our R&D process, then tell you all about our recent Dev Days.

I have always believed that the main asset of a software company is not the software itself, but the people who develop the software for the client. Of course, the Development Team is important in this process, but we don’t talk a lot about them. Developers are weird people. We find a place at the back of the office, build a big wall, and sit behind it...

Netmail Gets Rave Reviews from J. Peter Bruzzese at MSExchange.org

(reposted from MSExchange.org by J. Peter Bruzzese)

Introduction

Exchange On-Premise and Exchange Online have a solid number of built-in features, but there are plenty of reasons to look to third-party solutions for bolt-on enhancements. Clear examples where you might want to do this include the need for a monitoring solution, an archive solution and enhanced security. While there are many options available, one that is quite appealing both with regard to versatility and price-point is Netmail’s Email Management Platform.

In Response to the IRS' Lost Emails

Last night the Daily Show with Jon Stewart ran a story about an email recovery scandal, what we in the industry call “ediscovery”. If you haven’t seen the segment, you can view it here: http://on.cc.com/1wvZLfi.

I’d like to offer our take on this as a company whose sole area of focus is email. For 13 years, it’s all we’ve done, so if you don’t mind, we’ll call ourselves experts. We help large institutions accurately capture and duplicate their emails, store them securely and search through them.

A Paradigm Shift - Is Security Software (as we currently know it) Becoming Extinct?

Posted by Judi Kohn

Jun 3, 2014 10:27:00 AM

After marketing commercial antivirus software for over 25 years, Symantec Corp. recently announced that traditional antivirus software is dead and traditional antivirus tactics are doomed to failure. They stated that part of the problem is that an increasing number of exploits use novel rather than known malicious code, so signature-based defenses plus the use of heuristics to identify Zero-Day vulnerabilities is no longer enough.

Microsoft Exchange Architectural Evolution – Cloud Messaging Services and the Evolution of Choice

Technology. Most of us would agree that it is a key part of the world around us. In the field of technology, the first sixty plus years have seen spectacular progress in all aspects of the domain. Ever shrinking transistors have enabled the production of increasingly complex and cost-effective microchips, a scenario that has driven the surge in technological design. This fits with Moore’s Law, the observation (not a physical law) that the number of transistors on integrated circuits doubles approximately every two years.
