You asked for it, you got it. Netmail 5.3 was our most awesome release, but because we REALLY wanted to make your job simpler, we made it even better. So we recently made some sweet enhancements to Netmail 5.4 and will be showing them to you over the next few weeks as you get ready for the upcoming release.
This video is about a few of the enhancements made to Netmail Search. Stay tuned to Netmail TV for more!
So what's new in Netmail 5.4? Netmail Search
The first enhancement pack for Netmail 5.4 is just around the corner, and there are plenty of enhancements to look forward to! Let's take a look at some of the new features in Netmail Search for both Super Users and Normal Users.
- Upon logging in to Netmail Search, you’ll notice that the folder item counts are now shown next to each root folder in the Folder view. Previously, the folder counts were shown on the Folder Stats tab, but that tab has been removed in Netmail 5.4. As a root folder is expanded, the overall item count is broken down and the numbers are shown next to each of its sub folders.
- In an effort to increase usability, all user-created folders are now listed in alphabetical order in the Folder view. This makes it much easier for you to quickly find the information you’re looking for.
- It’s now possible to view archived Contacts in Netmail Search. In the Folder view, you can simply click on Contacts in the Folder view to display a list of contacts that have been archived. Just like with any folder, you can also expand the root Contacts folder to view any contact sub groups. Each contact can be double-clicked to reveal more details about the contact, including their name, email address, company, job title, and phone numbers. You can also show the side or bottom preview pane, and even select which columns you want to display on screen.
